C'mon Apple you can't drop a seriously innovative phone on us and not give 3rd party developers any way to add content. You could at least add support for custom widgets or Flash in the browser. I can understand locking the device down to ensure stability, but either of those solutions would be fairly safe I would think. The first thing I thought when I watched the demo was "what cool apps can I make for it"... well most signs are pointing to none. I wonder if some kind of developer petition would help them change their mind before June.

Agreed. I assumed they would mimic Safari's support for plugins...I assumed wrong.
